Domaine de l’Oiselet, not far from the Mont Ventoux, is situated in the very heart of the Vacqueyras appellation. This family run estate produces organic wines and all year round welcomes visitors, both young and old, to its educational farm and ancient varieties orchard. This year, the family’s teamwork has been rewarded with a score of 92/100 by the US magazine Wine Advocate (Robert Parker) for their organic 2016 Vacqueyras.
Joe Czerwinski (Wine Advocate) tasting notes : “More structured than the 2015, this estate’s 2016 Vacqueyras is a full-bodied, richly textured and firm wine that should drink well over the next 5-8 years. Hints of rosemary and cola accent the mixed-berry fruit, finishing dry and savory.”
